KNM study kit in Russian and English

This archive is based on the fourth revised edition of Marilene Gathier, Welkom in Nederland (2025), prepared for the updated KNM exam that has applied since 1 July 2025.

What is included

• Seven topic folders, matching the seven chapters of the book.
• Each folder contains:
  • theory_ru.md — condensed theory in Russian;
  • theory_en.md — the same theory in English;
  • vocabulary.md — a readable Dutch → English vocabulary list;
  • vocabulary_anki.tsv — the same vocabulary in an Anki- and spreadsheet-friendly format.
• 01_TABLE_OF_CONTENTS.md — clickable navigation.
• 02_STUDY_METHOD_EN.md — a study method based on active recall and spaced review.
• 03_CURRENT_FACTS_EN_2026-07-13.md — English version of facts that can change, such as the exam format, the current government, the health-insurance deductible and naturalisation rules.
• 03_CURRENT_FACTS_2026-07-13.md — the same current-facts page in Russian.
• 04_VOCABULARY_INDEX.md — vocabulary overview and card counts.
• 04_ALL_VOCABULARY_ANKI.tsv — one combined vocabulary file.

How the theory is organised

Each topic starts with a short mental map. It then contains:

1. core rules and facts;
2. situation-based decision tables;
3. key dates, numbers and distinctions;
4. common exam traps;
5. active-recall questions with a collapsible answer key.

The material is designed for repeated retrieval from memory rather than passive rereading.
